FEMA The primary focus of this FEMA guide is to help the reader understand how to conduct a building survey to identify nonstructural items that are vulnerable in an earthquake and most likely to cause personal injury, costly property damage, or loss of function is they are damaged. The guide also contains recommendations on how to implement cost-effective measure that can help to reduce the potential hazards.
