Incentives
A number of changes to policy and regulations have occurred at local, regional, state, and federal levels. Development of planning and policy in the earthquake field are vital fields to ensure engineering and technological advances find the funding and support they need.
Because mitigation efforts often come with a cost, many programs have incentivized the process to gain higher participation.
