Presidential Disaster Declarations Website
To give local communities greater insights about potential risks from natural and manmade disasters, the Public Entity Risk Institute (PERI) and the University of Delaware have expanded a website of presidential disaster declarations. The website includes information on federally-declared disasters from 1953 until the present. Website users can search by time periods, type of disaster declarations, as well as disaster requests that were turned down. Aslo includes a featured utility that makes creating summary tables simple.
