On Shaky Ground–CA North Coast
Produced by the Humboldt Earthquake Education Center of Humboldt University, this booklet explains the earthquake risks that are unique to California’s North Coast. In particular, the region is vulnerable to earthquakes and possible tsunami resulting from the offshore Cascadia Fault Zone. Basic self-preparedness and nonstructural techniques for home safety are given.
